  Join Randy Rokosz and Dan Sherman at a local favorite for dirtbags alike.  Alabama Hills has a bit of Hollywood and a lot of excitement.  This crag has a little bit for everyone with hundreds of bolted routes ranging from 5.6 to 5.11. 

  Over 2 days, you will be introduced to some of the best the west has to offer that will leave your arms pumped.  Enjoy a campsite with your climbing comrades after day 1 and plan for a thrilling day 2 including victory pizza in Lone Pine.  Climb on!


Meeting Place: Pickups to be coordinated

Meeting Date:  Friday, September 8

Meeting Time:  5:00pm

Cost: $100 Per Registrant

Cost Includes: Rock climbing technical gear, instruction, transportation, firewood, breakfast (2) mornings & dinner (2) nights.

Required Gear

3 season tent, sleeping bag, personal camp gear, lunch & snacks for 2 days, water, drinks.


Friday 9/8

- 5:00pm:  Begin roundup and carpool together to Tuttle Creek Campground

Saturday 9/9

- Eat a heart breakfast served by Dan & Randy

- Go over climb profile for the day

- Safety talk

- Single Pitch TR climbing

- Break for lunch

- Building Anchors and learning Multi Pitch / Trad Climbing

- Head back to camp and enjoy a hearty dinner and campfire 

Sunday 9/10

- Eat a hearty breakfast served by Dan & Randy

- Open climb day

- Learn to lead climb and anchor building techniques

- Break for lunch

- Open climb and lead climbing

- 4:00pm:  Breakdown camp and head to Lone Pine for Pizza!

- Drive home and say our goodbyes to this rock climb weekend
